Flu Clinics 2015

Our open flu clinics are available on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th, Thursday 15th and Friday 16th October 2015 at both surgeries from 9am - 5pm. If you have received a flu invitation in the post please attend either surgery on any of these times/dates for your flu vaccination.

The Almshouse Surgery and Sandal Castle Medical Centre

The practice has two sites, The Almshouse Surgery in the centre of Wakefield and Sandal Castle Medical Centre in Asdale Road.  Patients can access either of them at any time. We might ask you sometimes to attend a different site to your usual one especially when you ask for a same-day appointment.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

Trinity Care Wakefield is a new weekend and evening service from December 2014, giving you fast access to help, 7 days a week, every day of the year.

Trinity Care Wakefield is a group of six GP surgeries working together to improve services. This is a new way of working and each of the six practices is helping to design this service and give patients greater access to their GP.  This service has been funded by NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group.
