Almshouse and Sandal Surgery

The practice has two sites, The Almshouse Surgery in the centre of Wakefield and Sandal Castle Medical Centre in Asdale Road. Patients can access either of them at anytime. We might ask you sometimes to attend a different site to your usual one especially when you ask for a same-day appointment.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
